【Basic Introduction】
庄茗惠，马来西亚籍，现为哈尔滨工业大学经济与管理学院数字经济专业2022级本科生。在校期间，她始终保持积极进取的学习态度，学分绩达到3.7，专业排名第一，并获评2026届优秀毕业生。她曾获得2023年优秀在校国际学生奖学金（二等奖），积极参与学科竞赛、校园活动与社会实践，在ERP沙盘模拟经营校内联赛中获得二等奖，在第七届“新睿创新”杯机器人对抗赛中获得一等奖。与此同时，她还担任校级迷你马拉松礼仪志愿者，并作为留学生代表之一参与“成都第31届世界大学生夏季运动会哈尔滨站火炬传递起跑仪式”。
CHONG MIN HUI, Malaysian, is currently a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Digital Economy at the School of Economics and Management, Harbin Institute of Technology (Class of 2022). Throughout her studies, she has maintained a proactive and diligent learning attitude, achieving a GPA of 3.7 and ranking first in her major. She has been recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of the Class of 2026. She received the Second-Class Outstanding International Student Scholarship in 2023. She has actively participated in academic competitions, campus activities, and social practices, winning the second prize in the school-level ERP sand-table simulation business competition and the first prize in the 7th Xinrui Innovation Cup Robot Competition. Additionally, she served as an etiquette volunteer for the university's Mini Marathon and was one of the international student representatives at the Torch Relay Ceremony for the 31st Summer Universiade (Chengdu) – Harbin Station
除了专业学习外，她还主动选修法学课程，培养跨学科思维，深入了解中国法律与社会体系。凭借扎实的学术基础与综合能力，她已获得北京大学经济学院数字经济专业录取资格。
Beyond her major, she has proactively taken elective courses in law to cultivate interdisciplinary thinking and deepen her understanding of China’s legal and social systems. With her solid academic foundation and comprehensive abilities , she has received admission offer from the School of Economics at Peking University for the Digital Economy program.

回望大学四年，我的求学之路，始于一场特殊的奔赴。2022年，来华求学的路格外艰难。在马来西亚外交部与中国大使馆的协调安排下，我有幸搭乘包机来到中国，踏入这所校园。
我深知中国同学十分优秀，起初只盼着能跟上教学进度。加之我本是文科生，数理基础偏弱，数理课于我无疑是巨大的挑战，所以投入大量精力学习微积分。但大一即将结束时，我意外收获专业第一。这份成绩不仅让我看到了自己未曾发掘的潜力，也让我有了申请优秀国际学生奖学金的底气。于我而言，它更像一次对自我能力的阶段性验证，而非单纯为了一份荣誉。
Looking back on my four years of university, my academic journey began with an extraordinary pursuit. In August 2022, the path to studying in China was especially difficult. Through the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and the Chinese Embassy, I was fortunate to take a chartered flight to China. I finally set foot on this campus.
I knew that my Chinese peers were exceptionally talented, so at first I only hoped to keep up with the coursework. Moreover, as a liberal arts student with a weaker foundation in mathematics and physics, those subjects posed a huge challenge for me. Thus, I devoted a great deal of effort to studying calculus. Yet, toward the end of my freshman year, I unexpectedly ranked first in my major. That achievement not only revealed potential I had never recognized in myself but also gave me the confidence to apply for the Outstanding International Student Scholarship. For me, it was more a validation of my abilities at that stage than simply an honor.
为突破思维局限，我主动选修智能机器相关课程。跨学科的挑战曾让我焦虑，却也磨砺出面对未知的韧性和从零起步的能力。大二时，我选修法学课程，因为身处异国，了解当地法律是必要的。即便课业繁重，我也保持课前预习的习惯。
大三那年，至亲离世的重大打击让我一度陷入低谷，失去了前进的动力。在漫长的自我开导中，我决定为自己，也为她再拼一次。我开始准备北大的申请，顺利通过初试后，我全力投入面试准备，对着可能的面试提问反复演练、自问自答，不断打磨回答细节。当录取通知到来时，我知道这一路的坚持不仅是对自己四年努力的交代，更是对她最好的告慰。
To break free from my intellectual limits, I took the initiative to enroll in courses on intelligent machines. The interdisciplinary challenges once made me anxious, but they also honed my resilience in the face of the unknown and my ability to start from scratch. In my sophomore year, I chose to take law courses, as it was necessary to understand local laws while living in a foreign country. Even with a heavy academic load, I kept up the habit of previewing lessons before class.
In my junior year, the passing of a close family member plunged me into a deep slump, and I lost my motivation to move forward. After a long period of self-reflection, I decided to push myself once more—for my own sake and as a tribute to her. I began preparing my application to Peking University. After passing the preliminary round, I threw myself into interview preparation, repeatedly practicing possible questions, talking to myself, and refining every detail of my answers. When the admission letter arrived, I knew that all the perseverance along the way was not only a testament to my four years of hard work but also the best way to honor her memory.
回望这四年，没有一帆风顺的坦途，但也没有白走的弯路。那些焦虑与怀疑的时刻，最终都成了我的“成长说明书”。由衷感谢哈工大的栽培与默默支持我的家人。
前路未知，才自有万般意义。成长路上，不必困在世俗划定的标准答案里，也不必事事苛求完美极致。与其在焦虑中追求周全，不如诚实地面对每一个当下的自己。无愧于心而行，便是一路好风景。
Looking back on these four years, the road was never smooth, but no step was wasted. Those moments of anxiety and self-doubt ultimately became my manual for growth. I am deeply grateful to the Harbin Institute of Technology for nurturing me and to my family for their silent support.
The unknown ahead is precisely what gives the journey its meaning. On the path of growth, we need not confine ourselves to society's rigid answers, nor demand absolute perfection in everything. Instead of anxiously seeking completeness, it is better to be honest with ourselves at each present moment. To act with a clear conscience is to enjoy a beautiful journey all along the way.
