The school will apply on your behalf for your visa or Residence Permit .
If you hold F visa, you should provide one photo and fees for extension.
If you hold L or X visa, you should apply for Residence Permit, and provide the following:
a. Passport
b. 2 passport-sized photos
c. Receipt of the tuition
d. Certificate of Physical Examination
e. JW202 (Only for the first "Residence Permit for Foreigners"

2. My study permit will expire. What should I do?
You should go to Room 306 of International Student Center at least 10-15 days in advance with your passport.
3. Where can I buy food, houseware and clothing?
You can buy food, houseware and so on in the supermarket that is on the campus. HIT is located in the center of the city. There are some shopping malls near the campus. It's very convenient to go shopping.
4. How can I get to Harbin Institute of Technology(HIT) from the airport?
Method 1: Take the Airport shuttle bus from the Airport to the terminal,and take the public bus No 82 to Harbin Institute of Technology Bus-stop.
Method 2: Take a taxi to HIT.It takes about 35 minutes at a cost of RMB 100-120.
